The Mission of Messiah

"We gather as a People of God to invite the stranger, welcome the guest, train the disciple, and to send out the apostle in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
To invite the stranger involves sharing the Good News of who we are as Christian evangelists who believe in Christian charity, as well as reaching out to serve those outside of our parish community
To welcome the guest involves helping those who visit us feel truly at home and included as a part of our parish life
To train the disciple involves a complete program of religious education and training to give our members the knowledge, skills, and insight to live out their baptismal vows in truly meaningful ways
To send out the apostle involves creating Christian leaders who will assume responsibility for ministry and mission both in and outside of the parish
